The California Young Democrats & the California College Democrats are recognized as the official youth delegation of the California Democratic Party. CYD/CCD is composed of many local chartered clubs which comprise the statewide organization.

 Region 1 - North State
Counties include Sacramento, Del Norte, Siskiyou, Modoc, Humboldt, Trinity, Shasta, Lassen, Tehama, Plumas, Mendocino, Glenn, Butte, Sierra, Lake, Colusa, Sutter, Yuba, Yolo, Placer, El Dorado and Nevada.
Region 2 - Bay Area
Counties include San Francisco, Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Marin, Contra Costa, Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito.

Region 3 - Central Valley
Counties include Fresno, Amador, Alpine, San Joaquin, Calveras, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Mono, Merced, Mariposa, Madera, Kings, Tulare, Inyo and Kern.
Region 4 - Central Coast
Counties include San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura.
Region 5 - LA Basin
Counties include Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino.
Region 6 - South State
Counties include San Diego, Riverside and Imperial. |
